Washi Paper Demo

On Tuesday I attended a washi paper lecture and demo, which covered the history and technical production of tengucho (and other) Japanese paper. Two master paper makers did the demo (both are 4th generation craftsmen).

I will try some of their papers in the near future, as Hiromi Paper sells their handmade sheets.

These shots were taken in the UNM Print Studio, where the demo part was held.
